Hey all you dog lovers out there! We all know our furry friends love to chomp down on something, but for strong chewers, finding the right toy can feel impossible! Ivy and Zo, my canine companions, are champions of chewing, and (let’s be honest) sometimes keeping them occupied keeps them from, well, redecorating the house with my furniture!
Ivy and Zo are high-energy dogs. As Boxers, we play with them a few times a day, use puzzles, play hide and seek, and when we have to work (you know because we have to support their lavish lifestyle!), we find chewing on bones to be their favorite. (Yes yes yes we are setting up the pool shortly so swimming will take precedence.)
But until then, what is your dog’s favorite chews?
Ivy and Zo both love to chew on bones, but I wanted to try something different, so we got them Cow Knee Caps and they absolutely love them! I am sure there are better alternatives to these, and we would love to hear your dog’s favorite things to chew.
So what chews do you get your strong-biting dogs? They can’t use rubber kongs or anything in that realm because they break out from the rubber.
We’ve been on the hunt for the perfect chew toy. They love bones, but I wanted to find some variety. We tried Cow Knee Caps, and they were a hit, but I’m always on the lookout for something new. Himalayan Dog Chews were a no-go for us, though – – not even a nibble!
